Sophomore safety Jamar Hornsby has been kicked off the University of Florida football team in the wake of allegations that he fraudulently used a credit card issued to Ashley Slonina, the UF student who died in an October motorcycle crash that also killed Gators walk-on Michael Guilford.
Hornsby “is not a part of our program,” Florida coach Urban Meyer said in a statement Friday afternoon. [Independent Florida Alligator]
