The Princeton Review just released their annual list of the top 20 party schools. So, which schools slacked off and which partied their f***ing faces off? Well, the Dawgs no longer hold down the top spot and Penn State almost slipped out of the top 10. Who brought the motherf***in' fury? Those Cali kids in Santa Barbara jumped up a couple spots and Ole Miss must've increased levels of hottie toddys at the Grove. We think the folks in Tempe are gonna be pissed. Check out the full list then vote for the school you think should hold the title after the jump.
Playboy's Top Party Schools list for 2011 released in mid to late April, so we decided to ask you guys who you think should be the top party school. Surprisingly to us, The University of Western Ontario crushed the competition with 43% of the vote, far outpacing the University of Colorado and Penn State (only 5%). Close to 25% of the votes that came in were for "Other". So, we took a closer look and found the 10 schools who deserve consideration along with 10 more that are party schools in training (PSIT). Check out our list below and let us know if you agree in the comments after the jump.
For the first time ever, college students were given the chance to bring the world premiere of a major motion picture to their school. Well the votes have been tallied and we have a winner. Are Danny McBride and James Franco soon to be walking the red carpet at your school for the world premiere of Your Highness? The live announcement is set for 2PM (EST) and you can watch it here.
Last week, we announced a new contest in which your school could win the world premiere screening of "Your Highness" and an after-party with cast members Danny McBride ("Kenny Powers") and James Franco. If you read carefully (you didn't), you'd know 5 other schools can also host FREE screenings. This is the first time a movie premiere's location has been decided by college students. Here are the schools currently in the top 6 slots. If you don't go to one of these schools, go to eventful.com/yourhighness and vote. You have until MARCH 20th! Do it. DO IT NOW!
Kiplinger's just released its ranking of the best value schools broken down into two major categories: public and private. Their rankings are based on a combination of academics (SAT or ACT scores, admission and retention rates, graduation rates) and affordability (total expenses for in-state vs. out-of-state students, average debt per student at graduation). While that's all well and good for penny pinchers, what about us booty chasers? We decided to take a look at which of the top "best value" public and private colleges hooks up the most.
