Last week, we told you Playboy released its annual "Girls Of" issue in which they profile a conference's hottest chicks. This year, they featured the SEC. We showed you their pics, now we're giving you the chance to get to know them a little better. We emailed the girls a bunch of hardcore, in-depth questions about their drinking habits, sex lives, and school pride. We got answers back from Auburn's Liliana Cook and Haley Ann, Tennessee's Liza Benson, Alabama's Johnna Dominguez, Alex Sanders, and Jackie Pines, Ole Miss' Maggie Taylor and Kassidi Olaes, Mississippi State's Goldy Cass, LSU's Sophia Beretta, Florida's Gabrielle Rushing, and Georgia's Nina Valerie. Check out their super hot responses after the jump.
Everywhere large groups of college kids go; even larger amounts of bullsh*t are sure to follow. But it’s getting to be the time of year again where it becomes harder to brush off those ghost stories as BS. If it seems so unlikely, why don’t you go check it out…by yourself…at night? If this seems out of the question, why not just check out The 6 Scariest Colleges in America in our killer slideshow below... but beware, the last person to use our slideshow had their eyeballs explode and now haunts our office. Check out the full rundown then vote in our poll at the bottom of the post after the jump. NERDS!
Every year, Playboy publishes a pictorial featuring the hottest girls of a given conference. In 2010, they showcased the Girls of the PAC-10 and the year before that it was the ACC. This year, it's the SEC's turn. The fine females of (arguably) the top football conference have been featured five times in the past - 1981, 1989, 1994, 2001, and 2007. Now, with the crazy hot coeds of the October 2011 issue hitting newsstands and mailboxes in the coming weeks, we've put together galleries of SEC girls broken out by school to settle the score once and for all, WHICH SEC SCHOOL HAS THE HOTTEST GIRLS? See all the girls' pics, vote in our poll then let us know which girl's the hottest in the comments section.
We're moving offices today, so I get the pleasure of working from home. One of the benefits from that arrangement is I get to watch CNN. Well, their developing story today is the report that this one dude Nevin Shapiro has come forward alleging he done some shady sh*t at the University of Miami and NO ONE stopped him for 8 years, implying that the coaches and administration knew about and chose not to step in. CNN's calling this the worst college sports scandal ever. Do you agree? Check out details of the Miami scandal along with other notable college sports scandals in our slideshow then vote in our poll after the jump.
The Princeton Review just released their annual list of the top 20 party schools. So, which schools slacked off and which partied their f***ing faces off? Well, the Dawgs no longer hold down the top spot and Penn State almost slipped out of the top 10. Who brought the motherf***in' fury? Those Cali kids in Santa Barbara jumped up a couple spots and Ole Miss must've increased levels of hottie toddys at the Grove. We think the folks in Tempe are gonna be pissed. Check out the full list then vote for the school you think should hold the title after the jump.
This morning, Playboy released its list of Top 10 Party Schools featured in the magazine’s May 2011 issue on newsstands and online at playboydigital.com Friday, April 15. The rankings were determined by Playboy’s editors with input from students, Facebook fans, Twitter followers, alumni, feedback from Playboy campus representatives at schools across the country, and interviews with countless others. Other factors included male-female ratios, academics, winning percentage of sports teams, and proximity to beaches, ski slopes and lively music scenes. One school will DEFINITELY jump out at you. Find out after the jump!
Kiplinger's just released its ranking of the best value schools broken down into two major categories: public and private. Their rankings are based on a combination of academics (SAT or ACT scores, admission and retention rates, graduation rates) and affordability (total expenses for in-state vs. out-of-state students, average debt per student at graduation). While that's all well and good for penny pinchers, what about us booty chasers? We decided to take a look at which of the top "best value" public and private colleges hooks up the most.
The NHL had the bright idea of playing the "Winter Classic" outside at venues not typically used for hockey. The concept has since been adopted by the NCAA with ridiculous results. After this past weekend's pretty awesome Illinois-Northwestern game at Wrigley and Notre Dame-Army game at Yankee Stadium, we at COED got to thinking: what other non-football venues would make for cool college football matchups?
Week 8 certainly had its share of fireworks. Another #1 bit the dust and Auburn earned the right to be the next BCS #1 with a win over LSU. This week one of the best rivalries in the nation will take place for the 88th time as the Florida Gators take on the Georgia Bulldogs; otherwise known as the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.
Everyone's favorite show about a fake psychic and his pharmaceutical-selling wry-ally will be hitting up ten colleges across the country. Each campus will host Psych-related activities, including a sneak peek at the new fall episodes, along with guest appearances from the cast and crew and special prizes! Is your campus on the list?
What's a "Public Ivy?" It's a school that provides an Ivy League collegiate experience at a public school price. Originally, only eight schools were considered Public Ivies, but since then, more schools have been added to the list. COED breaks down what makes these Public Ivies so (inexpensively) awesome.
The Princeton Review released their annual college rankings yesterday which include ranking everything you can possibly imagine. Naturally our eyes skipped past all the boring parts and landed on the top ten party schools in the country. With thousands of colleges in this country, getting ranked as one of the top ten party schools in the nation is undoubtedly the biggest honor for an academic institution.
It's official, students at the University of South Carolina (and their Gamecocks) rank #1 in the nation in sexual health, according to Trojan condom's 2009 Sexual Health Report Card. The annual study analyzed 141 schools in the major NCAA conferences, grading them on a wide array of factors, including health center hours of operation, condom availability, HIV testing costs and the availability of anonymous anonymous advice.
