This morning, Playboy released its list of Top 10 Party Schools featured in the magazine’s May 2011 issue on newsstands and online at playboydigital.com Friday, April 15. The rankings were determined by Playboy’s editors with input from students, Facebook fans, Twitter followers, alumni, feedback from Playboy campus representatives at schools across the country, and interviews with countless others. Other factors included male-female ratios, academics, winning percentage of sports teams, and proximity to beaches, ski slopes and lively music scenes. One school will DEFINITELY jump out at you. Find out after the jump!
Each week for the past month, we've been encouraging you guys to demand the world premiere of "Your Highness" at your campus. We gave you a glimpse of what the after-party might look like but, alas, only 1 school got the royal treatment: the University of California, Santa Barbara (aka "UCSB"). We could rub it in your faces, but we're givers not haters, so here's a gallery of pics from the red carpet at UCSB's world premiere featuring stars Danny McBride, James Franco, scorching hot cheerleaders, sexy sirens draped in white togas, a Brian Wilson lookalike, and a well endowed NSFW minotaur. "Your Highness" will hit theaters this Friday, April 8th!
For the first time ever, college students were given the chance to bring the world premiere of a major motion picture to their school. Well the votes have been tallied and we have a winner. Are Danny McBride and James Franco soon to be walking the red carpet at your school for the world premiere of Your Highness? The live announcement is set for 2PM (EST) and you can watch it here.
Last week, we announced a new contest in which your school could win the world premiere screening of "Your Highness" and an after-party with cast members Danny McBride ("Kenny Powers") and James Franco. If you read carefully (you didn't), you'd know 5 other schools can also host FREE screenings. This is the first time a movie premiere's location has been decided by college students. Here are the schools currently in the top 6 slots. If you don't go to one of these schools, go to eventful.com/yourhighness and vote. You have until MARCH 20th! Do it. DO IT NOW!
Finally, a good excuse to go streaking! On campuses across the country, coeds who hate clothing and love charity participated in the greatest college competition this side of March Madness: the AXE Undie Run Challenge. The Undie Run pits student body against student body to see who can donate the most clothing to charity... while running around in just their underoos.
