  • Study Shows Philadelphians Purchase More Sweatpants Than Any Other City (And No One Is Surprised)

Let me begin by saying I'm from Philadelphia so I have a horse in this race. That said, facts are facts, and for the second year in a row, Philadelphia tops the list of cities that purchase the most sweatpants. CBS Philly talked to John Fetto of Experian Marketing, the company that conducted the study, and quoted him as saying: "Among the 209 designated market areas in the United States...

  • Viral Video Holy War: Philly Guy Christmas vs. Hasidic Jew Dougie [VIDEOS, POLL]

Oh, it's on now! They say timing is everything, well I just had two friends each forward me a link to a video - one features Philly's version of "Da Bears" titled, "A Philly Guy Christmas" and the other features Hasidic Jews doing the Dougie really really well. Last time we had a showdown between the Mustached Mullet Whistler and the Girl With The Tramp Stamp Tattoo. Mullet Man is just barely winning. Now, we've got ourselves a HOLY WAR! Watch the combatants then vote in our poll after the jump.

Philly’s Finest Females Flaunt Their Goods For The City’s 329th Anniversary [PHOTOS]

On October 27th, 1682, the distinguished city of Philadelphia was founded. I'd like to point out that I'm a Jersey kid and I love the Giants and Mets, thus, I loathe Filthadelphia. With that said, I still feel it's important to point out that though Philly's been tagged with "the most toxic city in the country" and the "ugliest city in America", they still have a decent crop of good looking chicks. Women such as Eve, Pink, Amber Rose, Kelly Monaco, Lani Todd, Gia Carangi, Joan Jett, Santigold, and Kim Delaney can all claim Philadelphia as their hometown. To celebrate its anniversary, we've built this gallery of its hottest natives. Check 'em out after the jump.

  • Philadelphia Bus Security Cams Record A Shooting [VIDEO]

On August 4th, a group of men attacked a Philadelphia bus with an automatic weapon - something resembling an AK-47. While their alleged intentions were to shoot a man who had threatened a relative of theirs with 'child abuse,' no one was actually hurt. That doesn't stop this video from being f*cked up in a huge way. Automatic weapons aimed and fired at a grandma? No excuse, Philly. Check out the craziness after the jump!

    Pat’s vs. Geno’s [PHILLY'S CHEESESTEAK WAR]

Early this morning at around 1:20 am EST @TheBuriedLife tweeted a question to their followers: "Where do you go for the best cheesesteak in Philadelphia?" Seeing as "the best cheesesteak in Philadelphia" is a highly debated subject in Philly, suggestions poured in and the subject trended in the city that sucks of Brotherly Love. The guys finally decided on heading over to Pat's where Dave got his cheesesteak, crossed #25 off his bucket list and at 3 am EST proclaimed that Pat's served the #bestphilicheesesteak. Do you agree? Let us know after the jump!

  • The NFL’s Wildest Fans

Football fans are among the most passionate and inspired sports enthusiasts in the country. From Oakland to Buffalo, throngs of people load up their cars with tailgating equipment, pull out jerseys, paint their faces, hang banners, and travel out to the game on Sunday mornings. Loud, wild, inspired chants, heckling of opposing players, and downright ravenous behavior is all part of the overall package, but the alcohol fueled fever boils over in some cities more than others with an all too common frequency. If you’re wasted enough to tackle an 8-year-old in a parking lot in front of his parents after a heartbreaking loss like a Cleveland Browns fan did on November 14, your city sounds perfect for this.

  • Thank You, Baseball Gods!

For all Mets fans, baseball fans or sports fans who didn't want to see the New York Yankees or Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series again, we can thank the Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants and most importantly, the Baseball Gods.

  • Weekend Warrior: Philadelphia

Philadelphia, like many other cities, offers an array of fun options for the weekend visitor. Each person's experience yields different outings, each person's experience varies. This one's been making the rounds the last couple of days, but it's just too good not to post. Basically, this guy (Rob) is freaking out over his beloved Giant's loss to the Eagles, which knocked them out of the Super Bowl running. And as the girl in the background points out, he's being an uber-pu$$y. And it's hilarious.
