Air Jordans Cause Riots? Is This Real Life? [24 WTF PHOTOS]

I’m not a big shoe guy. Mostly because I have sh*tty luck. I remember I got a pair of sweet blue high tops when I was 10 and thems sh*ts were ganked from my locker at the Y. I don’t know what it is about fly kicks that makes people lose their sh*t but it’s ridiculous. I’ve heard of thug life mugging / murdering people for their Air Jordans, but riots? Customers getting trampled to death over sneakers? Am I missing something? Anyway, we put together a gallery of (what I think are funny/wtf) Air Jordans pics that’ll either aid or abet the frenzy. I honestly don’t know. If you do, leave us your thoughts in the comments.

Happy Kris Humphries Meme Wants You To Sign The Boycott Kim Kardashian Petition

Hey y’all, so at our happy hour with Crown Royal last night, we were talking about one of our most popular stories – the Megan Fox Boycott boycott – and I proposed we boycott Kim Kardashian. Turns out this isn’t a novel idea – thousands of fed up peeps have signed a petition to boycott the sex tape star. Then I read about Kris Humphries getting booed at the Garden before the Nets-Knicks game. So, I created the Happy Kris Humphries meme. Our mission is twofold: help us blow up our Happy Kris Humphries meme and boycott Kim. Click through to make a difference.

Kobe Bryant Non-Mistress Jessica Burciaga’s 110 Sexiest Facebook Photos

MediaTakeOut reported that Playboy’s Miss February 2009 Jessica Burciaga was one of Kobe Bryant’s mistresses that led to his divorce. However, on Saturday, they retracted the report citing that Kobe had taken a shot at the crazy hot 28 year old California model but was denied. Ironically, we posted an article about her making men wanna cheat in Jay Sean’s Mistress Mixtape video back in early September. Maybe Kobe saw that? Or maybe it was these slammin’ pics of her on Facebook. Check ‘em out after the jump.

Top 11 Colleges for Producing Sports Team Owners

Usually sports teams owners aren’t mentioned when listing off notable alumni. Why? They’re regarded as the scum of the Earth – vile human beings who are greedy penny pinchers. Well, newsflash, I’d f***ing love to be a sports team owner. Been a dream of mine since day 1. So, this list of top owner-producing colleges created by the Wall Street Journal would’ve been super helpful. Check it out after the jump.

The Top 5 Holiday Traditions in Sports

The two things we can count on to bring people together are holidays and sports. Everyone likes a day off from work and when you couple that with a sporting event, you’re staring down at a pair of aces. For some families, watching sports can be a bonding experience while others use it as a diversion or escape from family issues. And, if you don’t have a fam, these sports will keep you company. Tri-State Sports Guys’ Mike D has 5 great marriages of holidays and sports – check ‘em out after the jump.

The 25 Most Notable Sig Eps For The Frat’s 110th Anniversary

On November 1st, 1901, Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded at Richmond College (now the University of Richmond) on three principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. It’s the second largest social fraternity in the U.S. in terms of current undergraduate membership, reportedly the largest in terms of total members initiated, and was the first to charter a chapter in all 50 states. At Hopkins, Sig Ep is the swimmer’s fraternity and they (used to) throw a killer black light party – unless you have stained teeth or a severe dandruff problem. Without Sig Ep, who knows what would’ve happened to these most notable brothers. Click the link to see who they are.

NBA Who? Introducing Rick’s Basketball League [78 PHOTOS]

Back in August, we named Rick’s Cabaret as one of the 10 best strip clubs in America. Why? Because they pull off stuff like this all-exotic dancer basketball league to help fill the void left by the NBA Lockout. The league will be made up of 11 teams, one from each city the chain has a club in (New York, Philly, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Charlotte, Miami, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston). Each team will play 2 games over 2 days – November 17th and 18th. We were lucky enough to receive a special invite to check out the NYC squad. Good thing we brought a camera. Peep the pics from their practice after the jumpshot.

Busted! 16 Collegiate Superstars Who Never Lived Up To Their Hype

In college sports, things are different. There’s less pressure, no paycheck and the athletes are also (kinda of) students no matter how many off the field benefits they’re getting from boosters. In the pros, all those Heismans and school records don’t mean anything anymore. It’s put up or shut up time and it’s a proving ground for anyone who thought that they were going to be playing in the big leagues. Well, for these athletes, those college awards are just about the only thing on their fireplace because they turned out to be total busts. Check out who made the cut below!

5 Clubhouse Partiers That Put Boston’s Pitching Staff To Shame

The Red Sox collapse has gotten a ton of coverage and the blame seems to have shifted almost entirely to the revelation that Jon Lester, Josh Beckett and John Lackey drank beers and ate fried chicken during the game on their days off. While it might seem crazy to the novice fan, their antics pale in comparison to these five in-game partiers. • 8 NBA Teams That Benefit Most From The Lockout

8 NBA Teams That Benefit Most From The Lockout

Now that the NBA’s Nazi Commissioner David Stern has officially cancelled the first two weeks of the NBA season, all we can do now is pray that a season actually starts. The L and the players did just have 16 hour talks yesterday, so it’s nice to know that they’re at least making it seem like they give a f*ck. I’d be happy with a shorter season anyway because it’s the playoffs that really matter. Even if the season doesn’t happen, at least we have NBA 2k12 to fill the void. I’m sure that a few NBA teams are actually happy about the lockout – there are a bunch that actually benefit from a shorter regular season. Check out who those teams are after the jump.

However, that was an almost-finished build. Now that it’s been released for sale, we finally had a chance to take it home and give it a full-court review. Five Best Ways To Spend Your Bench Time During The NBA Lockout

As the NBA lockout enters it’s third month, many NBA fans such as myself are coming to the realization that the whole season might be cancelled. In my opinion, the best post-season in any sport is the NBA Playoffs (I can hear the haters typing now). Without a real regular season, however, the playoffs won’t mean as much. It also means that NBA fans won’t have nearly as much to do during the cold, winter months. Don’t worry though, I’m here for you. Below are five things you should be doing while your favorite athletes relax play competitively in Europe.

Kevin Love ‘Attacks’ Jess Gysin on the Beach in NYC [42 PHOTOS]

Minnesota Timberwolves’ All-Star Kevin Love announced today that he will be spending his days on the beach (playing volleyball) during the lockout. Jose Cuervo is now the title sponsor of the Pro Beach Volleyball series, so they figured it would be a great time to show off two of their other stars: Jess Gysin (hottest college athlete of 2008) and Christal Engle. I was there to talk to Kevin Love (interview to come), but I had to wait for an hour or two to get my chance. Why wasn’t I upset about the delay? Because the view was fan-f*cking-tastic. Check out what I’m talking about after the jump.
