The latter half of 2017 will see a ton of great game releases. We’ve been compiling lists of the best upcoming titles for each platform. So far we’ve touched on the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. And now its time we show the PC some love.

Let’s get to it. Here are our most-anticipated PC games still to come this year.

The super in-depth football management simulation series returns this year with Football Manager 2018, a game that lets you control everything from whom you sign and sell to how you maintain stability within the team you’ve created. Every financial move, every benched player — all decisions are yours to make. The headlines will either praise or shame your name.

The game launches in November, but pre-ordering it will get you full access two weeks early. And if Football Manager 2017 is in your Steam library, then you can receive 25 percent off this year’s iteration by pre-ordering it before Monday, October 9, on either Steam or the SEGA store. It’s a good incentive for anyone who purchases the game each year.

City of Brass

Publisher: Uppercut Games
Developer: Uppercut Games
Platforms: PC
Release Date: September 18, 2017 (PC Early Access)

Technically, City of Brass doesn’t come out this year, but it does launch on Steam Early Access next month, and that’s enough. The first-person rogue-lite game featuring permadeath will include 12 levels in its Early Access campaign. There will be daily challenges where players can compete with friends to rank higher on the online leaderboards, which will reset after each day. Until its final release next year, you won’t be able to complete the game, as the final boss will be omitted until launch, but there’s plenty to do until then. You can watch the trailer above to get a look at the gameplay, which has a BioShock feel to it.

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider

Publisher: Bethesda Softworks
Developer: Arkane Studios
Platforms: PC, Xbox One and PS4
Release Date: September 15

Dishonored 2 was a fantastic game … on console. Its PC launch, however, was bug-laden and the cause of many complaints, resulting in underwhelming sales. Still, as much as the game was slept on, there’s no denying how much of an improvement Dishonored 2 is from its predecessor. And the Death of the Outsider expansion looks just as badass. The trailer above shows off a stellar cast and some dark, action-packed gameplay. We’re excited and ready to give Arkane another chance to prove it can handle the PC launch with care.

Cuphead

Publisher: StudioMDHR
Developer: StudioMDHR
Platforms: PC and Xbox One
Release Date: September 29, 2017

If it lives up to its expectations, Cuphead may very well be the indie game of the year. It’s a hectic 2D run-and-gun platformer inspired by 1930s cartoons. All the art is hand drawn, and there’s a beautiful original jazz score. What’s more is you can enjoy all this alongside a friend with drop-in/drop-out co-op. The Microsoft exclusive title topped our upcoming Xbox games list, and it’s our runner up for PC. StudioMDHR’s fresh take on an old artform is for suresies something to look forward to next month.

PRE-ORDER: Cuphead

Total War: Warhammer 2

Publisher: SEGA
Developer: Creative Assembly
Platforms: PC
Release Date: September 28, 2017

Concluding our list is none of than Total War: Warhammer 2, the next installment in developer Creative Assembly’s wildly popular strategy series. Using lore from the high-fantasy Warhammer universe, Total War lets players build empires and battle massive armies in real-time. TW:W2 will feature new races and an expansive world. And owners of the first game who purchase the sequel will receive a combined campaign map, which will let players explore both the old and new worlds for an even larger experience. We’re about a month off from its release, so prepare to face the Lizardmen and their laser-sporting dinosaurs — yeah, that’s a thing.
