Whether you fist pump or shake your head to the shore, it doesn’t really matter. The gang from Jersey Shore are on their way back to MTV for a reunion special, and these photos all but confirm their return.
It’s time to smush back down on that coach and observe the mind-numbing pop culture craze of yesteryear. I only watched a few episodes of the show, way back in my junior college years. The ratings was crazy and so many people were just obsessed with this show, bro. It’s full of drama, comedy, sex, and fresh blowouts.
This past month, cast members of the show were spotted together in Jersey beach towns of Point Pleasant Beach and Asbury Park. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWoww” Farley were being followed by a camera crew. Toby Wolf, director of marketing for Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, reported that Snooki and JWoww were on the shore for “for a couple hours and played boardwalk games” on June 16. They also apparently had a “low-key dinner” at Jenkinson’s Pavilion Restaurant. Wow, was that guy following them too?
The last episode of Jersey Shore took place on December 20, 2012. Now, MTV has announced their return for a reunion special.
One business owner is pissed off about their return and he doesn’t what them any near his bar and restaurant in Asbury Park. Peter Mantas, entertainment director of Langosta Lounge, wouldn’t let MTV film at the location. “They called 10 days before they wanted to film and we said no freaking way, it’ll be bad publicity,” Mantas said. “Bring those meatheads to the Langosta Lounge? No way.”
