WWE SmackDown Live Stream: How To Watch SmackDown Online – 04/18/17

A new #1 contender for the WWE World Championship will be determined tonight. Six superstars will fight for that elusive right. Who will grab that brass ring tonight? Who’s next to fight the viper?

SmackDown Live may very well be the land of opportunity in the WWE’s New Era. These competitors aren’t exactly main event superstars. They’re superstars none the less, but c’mon. You know what I mean. They’re no AJ Styles, our new #1 contender for the WWE United States Championship (for some reason).

But tonight, we might see a future star born from this odd pack of makeshift main eventers. Erick Rowan, Mojo Rawley, and Jinder “Hard Body” Mahal” scrapped their way up from the lower mid card to make it to this match. None of these men can realistically win tonight’s match-up. But crazier things have happened in the WWE. Rowan does have unfinished business with Randy Orton, so it may be foolish to count him out.

The three superstars who have a real shot of winning this one are Luke Harper, Sami Zayn, and Dolph Ziggler.

Harper winning would make a lot of sense. His feud with Randy Orton is well documented. He was also only a hair away from co-headlining WrestleMania 33 against his former leader Bray Wyatt. WWE seems to have a lot of confidence with Luke, in that they were toying with the idea of adding him to the Orton-Wyatt match at ‘Mania. That’s a big show of confidence on WWE’s part to even consider that option.

Sami Zayn winning is also a big possibility. The fans are really behind Zayn. They would accept his role in the main event against the likes of Randy Orton. KO will be feuding with AJ, so this will leave Zayn with nothing else to do on the blue brand.

Dolph Ziggler is back in heel mode. Another feud for the championship will inject a much needed dose of relevance back into his career. But if he gets crushed by Orton then it would defeat the purpose. So, if Dolph feuds with Orton over the title, he needs to be as ruthless as possible.

Who do you think will win tonight’s big match? Look below and find out how you can live stream tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown on your computer, TV, tablet or mobile device.
