As a citizen, you never want your president to be a risk-taker.
But as a basketball fan, you certainly want your bracketologist to come in hot with some risks. Barack Obama yet again proves that he’s never been that guy, as he’s once again gone completely chalk in his March Madness bracket.
In maybe the most predictable pick of all time, Obama has sixth-ranked UNC defeating seventh-ranked Duke in the finals. The Kansas Jayhawks and the Arizona Wildcats rounded out 44’s Final Four.
The newly former president has a couple of upsets in his first round, including 10-seed VCU taking down seventh-seeded St. Mary’s, and 10th seeded Wichita State defeating seven seed Dayton.
However, if you’re looking for advice, you should probably look elsewhere. During his eight years as commander in chief, Obama picked the champion just once: UNC in 2009.
ESPN approached current sitting president and young-adult fiction villain come to life Donald Trump about participating in March Madness bracket, but he predictably “respectfully declined.”
