Miami-Dade College Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat For The Second Time This Year

The Miami-Dade College Hialeah Campus has been evacuated due to a bomb threat. The evacuated campus is located at 1780 W. 49th St. in Hialeah, Florida.

Miami-Dade College Police said that the school received the threat around 1:00 P.M., saying there was a bomb on campus and that a shooting would take place afterward.

The campus is located 1780 W. 49th St. in Hialeah, Florida.

While police believe that the threat may be a hoax, they say they still need to take precautionary measures, and therefore a sweep will take a couple of hours.

This is the second bomb threat at Miami-Dade College this year. In January, Miami-Dade College’s North Campus was evacuated due to a bomb threat. The university had to evacuate buildings 1, 2, 4, and a pre-school lab as a precaution.
