Here’s a friendly reminder that Valentine’s Day 2017 is Tuesday, February 14, so if you don’t have any gifts, now is officially the time to start looking for a last-minute Valentine’s Day gift. First things first: go ahead, click this link, and order some flowers ASAP. The best part about ordering flowers online is that you don’t have to talk to anyone, just pick what you want, click order, and make sure you choose the fastest delivery possible. A local flower shop will field the order and send it out for you on Valentine’s Day.
Next up is a card. Either buy one from a store (suggested) or write one of your own on printer paper, just make sure you dress it up a bit if you go the printer paper route.
Finally, you’ll need to have a little gift or something to give her. That’s where we come in. The key for last-minute gifts is finding the right balance between price and availability. Just because you’ve been a lazy POS doesn’t mean you have to break your wallet to prove your love. Check out these great last-minute Valentine’s Day gifts.
We’ll be updating this post with more ideas as time goes on, so keep checking back.
One Box: $49.99
Annual Subscription: $179.99
What is it? FabFitFun is one of the hottest subscription box services on the web right now. For less than $50 a box, FabFitFun will send your significant other a box filled with products valued at $200. The boxes are seasonal, so they vary depending on the time of the year, but you can expect everything from makeup to clothes to cool stationary she’ll love.
We hooked up with FabFitFun for our Miss COED 2017 Competition, and all the winners are really excited to get their first boxes.
Perhaps the best part about an annual subscription? The woman in your life will get boxes throughout the year without you having to lift another finger. It’s literally the gift that keeps on giving.
Samsung Gear S3
What is it: The greatest Android smart watch on the market today. We understand that $350 is a little steep for most of our readers, but if you’ve got the money to spend on an extremely useful and fun gift for the lady in your life, the Samsung Gear S3 is a great option.
Not only does the Gear S3 allow for Samsung Pay (which is the greatest mobile invention in the past two years), the watch is more durable and provides a longer battery life than previous models, plus having Spotify as a killer app is a huge improvement.
If your lady friend enjoys technology or being an early-adopter, the Samsung Gear S3 is a perfect fit.
What is it: A stuffed animal, duh.
Unfortunately, you’re pretty much out of luck when it comes to ordering gifts online, but the good news is that stuff animals are sold tons of places. Are they cheesy? 100%. Since you’ve decided to neglect buying something for your better half for some time, “cheesy” is a much better alternative than “forgetful.”
Although you can find these stuffed animals at your local CVS or whatever pharmacy, we suggest looking in a place your girlfriend/wife/fiancee won’t have shopped in the past few weeks. The last thing you want is for her to think that you bought your gift at a pharmacy. Maybe check out a toy store or stationary store.
