If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times: nobody hates seeing the Patriots succeed more than me. A New York and New Jersey kid through and through, seeing Belichick and Brady phone in the devil to sell whatever’s left of their souls for a fifth title win is absolute torture. F*ck the Patriots and everything about them.
BUT that said, I love me some Rob Gronkowski. Even as a New Yorker, I was legitimately bummed when he went on injury reserve. I knew the Patriots were going to win the Super Bowl, so might as well watch their most likable player succeed with them.
Everyone should love Rob Gronkowski. He’s like a sick cross-breed between an ADD-riddled 10-year-old, Brett Favre, and Bluto. His joy brings me joy. Seeing him party makes me wanted to immediately shotgun a beer or six.
So yeah, even as a Jets fan, I always enjoy the hell out of watching Gronk rage his face off. Who doesn’t?
Via Daily Mail:
The 27-year-old tight end showed no signs of pain despite his recent surgery for a herniated disc as he chugged beers and embraced fans while rolling through Boston on a duck boat Tuesday afternoon.
And Gronk’s celebration did not end there, as he then hopped down to Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut for a night of dancing and DJ’ing alongside Rock Ross at Shrine nightclub.
In one video, posted on Instagram by a fellow clubgoer named Liz, an animated Gronk can be seen both rapping and gyrating in the DJ booth in a pair of sunglasses and a red Patriots tank top.
