The 59th annual edition of the Grammy Awards are set to take place this Sunday. James Corden will handle the hosting duties, and given his “Carpool Karaoke” skills, I’m sure he’s got a couple of tricks up his sleeve. The nominations for the 2017 Grammys were announced back in December, and in a development that surprised precisely no one, Beyoncé lead the way with nine. Three of her nominations are for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year, which are arguably the three most prestigious categories.
Even though it’s exciting to see who will win the awards, especially if it leads to a memorable Kanye West reaction, the best part of the Grammys is always the performances. This year looks to be no different, as the academy was able to book a murderer’s row of talent. Check out the eclectic and badass list of performers below.
2017 Grammys Performers
John Legend and Cynthia Erivo (will perform a tribute to musicians who passed away in the past year)
