President Obama Held His Final Press Conference, Answered Questions About Wikileaks & Russia

President Obama held the final press conference of his term Wednesday afternoon, speaking just two days before welcoming Donald Trump to the White House.

President Obama began the press conference by praising and thanking the White House reporters for their work before taking questions. The first question asked about President Obama’s recent commuting of Chelsea Manning’s prison sentence. Manning, a former U.S. Army soldier who leaked confidential documents to WikiLeaks, will be released from prison in May, marking 28 years before her original sentence was due to be completed.

ABC News reports that after Friday’s inauguration, Presient Obama is scheduled to vacation in Palm Springs, California with First Lady Michelle Obama. Afterwards, they will then return to Washington D.C., where they will live in a rented house until their younger daughter Sasha has completed high school.
