Unfortunately, the shark broke free and swam away after roughly 45 minutes. But who needs a shark on their mantle when they have that amazing video for all of eternity? F*ck catching the shark, the reaction video is all that’s important.
Nobody remembers that Josh Hamilton lost the 2008 Home Run Derby. They just remember the epic dingers he was launching all over Yankee Stadium. And a decade from now, no one will give a shit that these guys didn’t catch the shark, but they will always fondly recall the pure joy they exhibited.
