In case you were wondering if the Fast and the Furious franchise would lose steam following the death of Paul Walker, it looks like the drag-racing series is as popular as ever. Today it was revealed that the new trailer for The Fate of the Furious, the eighth movie in the series, smashed the record for the most worldwide views in its first 24 hours.

The trailer, which revealed that Vin Diesel’s character Dom will betray his racing family, was viewed 139 million times across all platforms worldwide. The previous record was 127.6M first-day views by Disney’s Beauty and the Beast when the trailer for the live-action version of the Disney classic was released earlier this year.

The Fate and the Furious trailer premiered on Sunday Night, when the movie’s cast took over Time’s Square. Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson were interviewed on NBC prior to the trailer’s release before the network’s big Sunday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.

The movie hits theaters on April 14, 2017.
