LISTEN: ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ J. Cole New Album Stream

Up until last week, we hadn’t heard much (especially any new music) from J. Cole, since 2014 Hills Forrest Drive two years ago. Thankfully for us, that all changed.

On December 1, 2016, the artwork and a tracklist for Cole’s new album, titled 4 Your Eyez Only were shown on iTunes available for pre-order. That next day, Cole dropped two new songs (albeit songs that will not be appearing on his latest release): “Everybody Dies” and “False Prophets.” Both came with videos, however it was the latter of the two that caused a stir, as it appears Cole was taking shots at Kanye West. Similarly, Cole also dropped a 40-minute documentary last night called Eyez, which chronicled his making of 4 Your Eyez Only. Cole’s releases achieved exactly what he hoped: drum up anticipation for an album we had previously heard nothing about.

Now, one week later, we finally have a brand new J. Cole album, and it is absolutely glorious. Maybe even J. Cole at his best. And yes, even better then when he went platinum with no features. Give 4 Your Eyez Only a listen below!
