Detroit Lions Throw Shade ESPN’s Way On Twitter After All Of ESPN’s ‘Experts’ Picked Them To Lose Today

The Lions came into today’s game in New Orleans as a 6-point underdog despite boasting a 7-4 record while on a 3-game win streak. The Lions just haven’t passed the eye test, and had trailed in the fourth quarter of every game.

So when making their picks, every ESPN’s “expert”- though calling Mike Golic an NFL expert is questionable, to put it lightly- predicted the 5-6 Saints would beat Detroit. And apparently the Lions- or at least their social media intern- noticed.

And after a game in which Drew Brees threw 0 touchdowns and 3 interceptions and the Lions prevailed 28-13, the Lions made sure to admonish ESPN’s experts on Twitter.

You can bet every single expert will pick Detroit next week when they take on lowly Chicago. If they want to pick Matt Barkley and the Bears, they’ll do so at the risk of being burned again.
