College football‘s most competitive conference will crown a new champion tonight, as the No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers face off against No. 8 Penn State Nittany Lions in the 2016 Big Ten Championship game.
The Wisconsin Badgers (10-2) find themselves in the Big 10 Championship game after a Week 1 upset of LSU to vault into the Top 10. Aside from losses to top 5 teams Michigan and Ohio State, the Badgers had an incredible season with a 6-0 record against West Division opponents.
On the other hand, The Penn State Nittany Lions (10-2) came into the season supposedly in rebuilding mode. However, after a 24-21 upset of Ohio State and an eight-game winning streak to close out the season, Penn State was able to win the Big 10 East Division.
