Since Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, everyone’s associated golden tickets with winning. Bud Light’s not trying to change any of that with their new “Strike Gold” can promotion, they’re just trying to improve on it.
The gist of the new “Strike Gold” promotional cans is that 37,000 golden 12-ounce Bud Light have been hidden inside Super Bowl-themed Bud Light cases. Customers who find those golden cans become eligible to win a ton of awesome prizes, including Super Bowl tickets for the rest of their life. Once these lucky customers find the cans, they can enter the contest by posting photos to social media with the hashtags #SBTix4Life and #Sweeps.
Anheuser-Bush will select six winners each week from November 28 through January 13, and those winners will receive a pair of season tickets to their favorite NFL team. The Grand Prize, which is Super Bowl tickets for the rest of your life, will be announced in January.
If you find yourself to be one of the lucky 37,000, do yourself a favor and post a ton of awesome social media photos with the hashtags. Don’t just log into BudLight.com and type in your information. Go skydiving with it. Take it on a submarine. Drink it (but save the can). Just don’t do anything boring with it. The more you put you and your can out there, the greater your chances of winning an amazing prize.
