The live stream will be brought to you by Verizon, who has partnered up with NBCUniversal to provide five strategically placed 360 cameras along the route from which viewers can enjoy the parade, floats and all. And if you’re up earlier than 9:00 A.M. on Thanksgiving, and you want to watch some behind-the-scenes action, as The Verge pointed out that Macy’s will also be posting some 360° clips on YouTube of the floats being blown up, prepared, etc.

Of course, you’ll still be able to watch the NBC telecast on television, which will be the main attraction and suggested method of watching the parade. It’s going to be hosted by Marlon Wayans and Olivia Culpo and will feature the best performances of the day. It’s unknown what kind of audio will be provided on the YouTube live stream.
