Spurs Look To Stave Off Elimination Against Monaco As Champions League Resumes Today

Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco continue their Champions League play today as the French side AS Monaco host the Spurs Group E matchup. This year is  Tottenham Hotspur’s first Champions League appearance in five years, since they lost in the 2010-11 Champions League quarterfinals against Real Madrid.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs team are in a very tough group with perennial Champions League squads CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen, and of course, AS Monaco. Monaco defeated Tottenham in the first leg of the matchup back on September 14th, 2-1.

Monaco welcomes Tottenham on Tuesday in the Champions League group stage, and boy is it a big one. A loss against Monaco would effectively eliminate Tottenham from moving on. The Spurs only have four points from four group games, and failure to win today, coupled with Bayer Leverkusen beating CSKA Moscow would see them eliminated. Today’s clash of European and French giants is sure to be a big one, so much sure you find out how to live stream the action below!
