Last night, the Golden State Warriors beat the New Orleans Pelicans 116-106. The Pelicans are still looking for their first win of the season, while Steph Curry was looking like a real life NBA Jam player that caught on fire. Curry set an NBA single game record by making 13 three-pointers, and he finished with 46 points on 16-26 shooting from the floor and 13-17 shooting from three-point range. The previous NBA record was 12 made threes, which was shared by Curry, Kobe Bryant, and the incomparable Donyell Marshall.

Watch all 13 of Curry’s made three-pointers in the video below.

Poetry in motion. Some of those shots were flat out preposterous, but Curry made them look as routine as an uncontested layup. He’s like a gunslinger¬†from the West Wild with how he manages to get his shot off so goddamn fast.

This is also a great teachable moment for all of the kids out there. Curry was 0-10 from three-point range on Friday night before erupting and breaking an NBA record on Monday night. Just keep chucking, baby. If you’re not hot, shoot till you get hot.
