There are some definite surprise teams in the NFL so far this season. The Los Angeles Rams would probably be the No. 1 pick in that aspect. The Rams are 3-1 after four weeks and now come home to face the 2-2 Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon. This game is one with two very hot teams presently and the winner is going to find themselves in a great spot for the playoffs. Can the Rams actually get to 4-1 and shock even more critics? Here is a look at the matchup.
The Bills pulled off a stunning 16-0 upset at the New England Patriots and have won two straight games. Tyrod Taylor has thrown for 773 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions on the season while looking for short passes to Robert Woods. Woods has 18 catches for 170 yards. LeSean McCoy has rushed for 297 yards and three touchdowns along with adding 17 catches for 87 yards and a score. Taylor loves running himself with 140 rushing yards from the quarterback position. Teams have been able to throw the ball on the Buffalo D so it will be worth seeing if Case Keenum can do that same thing.
The Rams won their third straight game with a 17-13 win on the road against the Arizona Cardinals. Keenum has passed for 825 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. Kenny Britt leads the team in receptions with 18 and yards with 281. Brian Quick has three receiving touchdowns while Todd Gurley has had his struggles on the ground with just 216 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Like Buffalo, the Los Angeles defense has been thrown on a ton this season. It could easily turn into a game where the two quarterbacks combine for 700 passing yards.
