UFC Schedule November 2016: Next Fight & Upcoming Events For This Month

UFC Schedule November 2016

The UFC November schedule is going to be a great one. Having matches go from November 5-26 will please UFC fans. As a company that is still growing its fan base, the UFC will definitely continue to grow with this month of intriguing matches.

UFC 205 is the main event in November, and we’ll get to see stars like Conor McGregor, Eddie Alvarez, Donald Cerrone, Frankie Edgar, and more. Having UFC 205 in Madison Square Garden is a huge win for President Dana White. White mentioned how he’s been trying to get to MSG for quite some time and is happy it finally happened. UFC 205 will be on Saturday, November 12th at 10:00 PM so make sure you mark your calendar.

UFC Fight Night 98

Dos Anjos (25-8) will be looking to get back on track after losing the lightweight title. Dos Anjos, who was supposed to face Conor McGregor not too long ago, lost his belt to Eddie Alvarez. The loss snapped his five-fight winning streak.

Ferguson (21-3) has won his last eight fights in a row. He recently defeated Lando Vannata in July via second-round submission which helped him get the fight with Dos Anjos.

UFC 205: Alvarez vs McGregor

Date: Saturday, November 12, 2016
Time: 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM EDT
Location: New York, NY
TV Channel: Pay-Per-View

UFC 205

UFC 205 can arguably one of the best cards in recent memory. The headline, Conor McGregor vs Eddie Alvarez,  is obviously the fight that everyone is pumped up to watch. McGregor, who has a chance to have two belts, showed his usual trash talk tactics in last weeks UFC 205 press conference and predicted that he will beat Alvarez inside the first round.

Alvarez took this fight without negotiating more money for himself, but claims the reason behind it was that it’s “easy money”. I don’t think fighting Conor McGregor is easy money and I think Alvarez will have to do a lot more than expected to come out on top.

UFC Fight Night 99: Kim vs Nelson

Date: Saturday, November 19, 2016
Time: 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM EDT
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
TV Channel: UFC Fight Pass

UFC Fight Night 99

Dong Hyun Kim has won back-to-back fights and six of his last seven. However, Kim has yet to fight in 2016 and he may need a round or so to get the jitters out. Nelson, whose nickname is “Stun Gun” had a four-fight winning streak snapped by Tyron Woodley. To Nelsons dismay, the fight only went 61 seconds that I’m sure left him embarrassed.

Kim vs.  Nelson headlines UFC Belfast. Kim, ranked No. 10 and  Nelson ranked No. 12, will go at it on Saturday, November 19 at the SSE Arena.

UFC Fight Night 100: Bader vs Nogueira

Location: Sao Paulo
TV Channel: FS1

UFC Fight Night 100

Bader (21-5, 14-5 UFC) is coming off a KO win over Ilir Latifi at the UFC Hamburg event earlier this month. He has won six of his last seven overall, with the only loss coming to Anthony Johnson in the beginning of the year.

Nogueira (22-7, 5-4 UFC) broke a two-fight losing streak with a TKO win over Patrick Cummins in May.

The two men have fought before, with Bader winning a unanimous decision at UFC 119 in 2010.

UFC Fight Night 101: Rockhold vs Souza

Date: Saturday, November 26, 2016
Time: 10:00 PM – 12:00 AM EDT
Location: Melbourne, Australia
TV Channel: FS1

UFC Fight Night 101

Number 3 ranked Jacare Souza looks to avenge the loss that cost him the Strikeforce belt in 2011 when he faces Luke Rockhold, currently ranked No. 2, at UFC Fight Night 101. The rematch, Souza says, would have happened earlier had Rockhold not “ducked” him for years. But he’s still willing to give credit where it’s due.

After losing to Rockhold the first time, Souza says he’s made progress with his game. “I improved a lot. I’m a little stronger. Something I improved a lot was my strategy. Souza said. Now I have a strategy to fight. That makes a difference. I’ve always been a guy with a lot of stamina, but I didn’t know how to pace it. Now I do, and I can fight five rounds with anyone.”
