‘Vice Principals’ Season 1 Finale: Date, Time & TV Channel For “End of the Line”

Last week’s episode of Vice Principals was easily the season’s most dramatic show up to this point. The foundation has been set for an explosive season finale, and I have no idea how everything is going to shake out for all of our favorite faculty members at North Jackson High.

The episode began with Neal Gamby (Danny McBride) and Dr. Belinda Brown (Kimberly Hebert Gregory) disciplining students for coming to school intoxicated. To show these kids the dangers of alcohol, Dr. Brown told them how she was able to overcome her struggles with booze and put the bottle behind her. After Dr. Brown bared her soul, she offered Gamby a promotion. He would get a pay raise and a new title, but he would have to fire Lee Russell (Walton Goggins).

While Gamby was mulling over Dr. Brown’s proposition, he went to an amusement park with Ms. Snodgrass (Georgia King) and his daughter Janelle (Maya G. Love). Gamby and Ms. Snodgrass’ burgeoning relationship made Ms. Abbott (Edi Patterson) deeply jealous, so she told Gamby that Ms. Snodgrass used to hook up with Bill Hayden (Mike O’Gorman). This information caused Gamby to lose his shit, leading to him and Ms. Snodgrass having a big fight.

Just when Dr. Brown was starting to enjoy having her ex-husband back in the picture, she got a bomb dropped on her. Dr. Brown’s sons decided to go back to Philadelphia with their father, which was absolutely devastating to her.

Gamby went to Russell’s house to find out if he knew about Ms. Snodgrass’ history with Hayden. Russell admitted that he knew about their past, and that he was sorry he didn’t tell Gamby that his “pussy was being tampered with.” This apology proved to Gamby that Russell valued their friendship, so he decided not to take the promotion. He instead chose to reveal to Russell that Dr. Brown used to have a drinking problem.

Armed with this knowledge, Gamby and Russell set out to get Dr. Brown drunk and videotape her actions. Already in a fragile mindstate due to her boys leaving her, Dr. Brown got absolutely hammered and urinated on a police car. All of her reckless behavior was captured on camera, and it looks like Gamby and Russell might finally have what they need to get Dr. Brown fired.
