New Movie Trailers: ‘All Eyez on Me’, ‘Bastards’ & More [VIDEOS]

(Warner Bros)

(Warner Bros)

With summer in the rear-view mirror, the Hollywood studios are rolling out trailers for their upcoming fall and winter movies. One movie that definitely caught our eye is Bastards, a wild comedy starring Owen Wilson and Ed Helms. Other intriguing trailers released this week include Deepwater Horizon, Nocturnal Enemies, & more. Check out the trailers for them all to get an idea of which movies you want to see.

All Eyez on Me– the Tupac biopic- is coming out November 11, 2015 and it looks like like it should be an unbelievable tribute to one of hip hop’s pivotal figures. After last year’s the unbelievable NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton,  All Eyez on Me arrives just after election day. This is honestly the next movie I’m definitely planning on seeing in theaters.

It’s a big ask to play someone as unique and iconic as Tupac, which is why Will Smith as Ali fell someone flat. From the trailer though it looks like Demetrius Shipp, Jr.- who played Tupac in Notorious- has done an admirable job in the role.

Well this looks creepy as hell. The first Annabelle movie was a smashing box office success, grossing over $250 million despite mixed to negative reviews (29% on Rotten Tomatoes). Its commercial success earned Annabelle a sequel, and this one looks just as twisted as the original. It’s not on the same level as Chucky, but fans of those movies will probably enjoy this one. There will probably be some other horror movies coming out soon though, so probably only worth seeing in theaters if you’re a horror movie junkie.

This looks like it should be a solid comedy. Owen Wilson, Ed Helms lead a great cast that also includes J.K. Simmons in a movie about 2 guys who find out their father isn’t who they think it is. It hits theaters January 27, 2017, so we’ll have some time to decide if it’s worth seeing in theaters.

Deepwater Horizon

Mark Wahlberg- the poor man’s Matt Damon- stars in this upcoming movie set in the aftermath of the 2010 BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. This one hits theaters nationwide September 29th, 2016.

Fifty Shades Darker

I’m not the intended demographic for this sequel to the polarizing Fifty Shades of Grey book and movie, but this trailer has set a one-day record by getting 114 million views its first day out. It comes out February 10th, 2016- right in time for Valentine’s Day.

Nocturnal Animals

Nocturnal Animals is a thriller starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal, and it looks promising. This one hits theaters December 9th.
