Woman Invited On Boat Date By Man Learns She’s 1 of 15 Ladies Invited, Shoots Facebook Live Video That Goes Viral

A series of Facebook Live videos taken by a woman named Kayla Hutch have gone viral. According to Hutch, she had been invited by a man on Tinder named Emad to join him on a big boat that his cousin had rented for Labor Day Weekend. Sounds cool, right? The catch was that Hutch had no idea she was just one of fifteen women that had been asked to join the cruise, so when she showed up with a bunch of other women she got kind of confused and kind of upset.

“When I got there I could tell something was up because he was kind of standoffish, which seemed weird considering he’d been trying to get a date with me for six months and had sent five texts that morning confirming I was going to be there,” Hutch told the Daily Dot. “However, I thought he was just shy so I went on the boat. There were about 20 women and 5 men on the boat, so I ended up talking to some 21-year-olds. I asked how they knew the guys and they said they’d met Emad on Tinder and this was the first time they’d gotten together.”

The thing was, the boat had already left and Kayla jokes that she couldn’t swim to get ashore, so we was forced to stay there. But rather than just enjoy the views and booze, she decided to start posting Facebook Live videos about the situation. Kind of funny, actually.

Now the video is blowing up and people are hating on Emad, saying that what he did was unfair and bullsh*t. Typical internet reaction stuff, really. Things started to get a little awkward once he came to say what’s up, though.

“He came up to me to see what was wrong, and I told him I didn’t think it was cool he manufactured some dating show for himself, to which he replied, ‘I don’t know what the problem is, don’t be uncomfortable.¬†Suffice to say I was super uncomfortable the rest of the time and yelled at passing boats to try and get them to take me to shore. I even offered $100 of the rent money I had in my wallet.”

OK, so here’s what I don’t really appreciate. It is a matter of scientific fact that girls do not want to be the only girls at a party. That’s just the truth. So here’s Emad, doing all these girls a favor by inviting a ton of other women to the party, and now they’re complaining. Newsflash, you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

She was finally rescued by one of the other women on the boat, who called her friend with a boat also out on Lake Michigan. You can watch the whole thing in the videos below.
