Antonio Brown is quite frankly dominating at a level few, if any, receivers ever have. This past Monday, Antonio Brown opened his 2016 season with a 8-126-2 line, with 7 catches, 113 yards and two TDs on Redskins corner Bashaud Breeland alone. However, Antonio Brown wasn’t always the force of nature he is today. In fact, he didn’t even attend a powerhouse school: Antonio Brown played college at Central Michigan. When I found this out, I turned to my buddy next to me and asked if anyone in the NFL is good at their jobs. I mean seriously, how the hell does this dude fall to the 6th round? He’s gonna end up being the Tom Brady of wide receivers: a 6th round pick who turns into the greatest ever.
However, long before Brown was clowning on professional athletes in the NFL, he honed his skills as a running back, quarterback, wide receiver, and punt returner at Miami Norland High School. Heading into college, Brown was denied from Florida State University for academic reasons (which doesn’t surprise me cause the dude sounds dumb as all hell), and expelled from Florida International University. He would eventually find a home at Central Michigan University. Now, he’s a four-time Pro Bowler being paid $10 million a year.
And 32 teams passed on him in the draft. 5 times each.
