Is The Angry Birds Movie Racist? This YouTube Review Makes A Pretty Strong Case

Angry Birds Muslim Immigration Theory

The biggest movie surprise of the year just might be Angry Birds, the film that you probably weren’t ever expecting to hear about. I mean, it’s just a kids movie made after a mobile game, right? Well according to YouTube user LeoPirate, there might be a lot more to the film than you originally thought.

But we’re not talking innocent male genitalia posing as castle towers (a la Little Mermaid) or the sand spelling out the word “sex” (Lion King)–we’re talking about subliminal messaging that discusses the current anti-Muslim, anti-refugee sentiment traveling around the globe right now.

YouTube user LeoPirate breaks it all down. Just a heads up, once you watch this video you won’t be able to unsee it:

Honestly, we haven’t watched the movie yet, but Leopirate’s theory about xenophobic undertones and symbology symbolism seem at least partially on target. There are far too many coincidences, images and themes to ignore. Rather than laying them all out for you, it’s best if you watch the YouTube video above.
