Bahamas Bowl: What Time, TV Channel & Preview

Christmas Eve is a day for families to begin coming together for the holiday and it also features one of the most entertaining college football bowl matchups of the whole season as two high-flying passing offenses get together at the Bahamas Bowl. The 7-5 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will take on the 7-5 Western Michigan Broncos in very warm Nassau to keep the cold parts of the country warm on the holiday.
The Blue Raiders have won their last four games and have given up just 14 points over their last two games. Brent Stockstill has thrown for 3,678 yards, 27 touchdowns and eight interceptions for the season and has looked the way of Richie James a ton. James has 100 catches for 1,220 yards and six touchdowns while the run game is led by Jordan Parker. While Parker has just 468 rushing yards, he does have six touchdowns and balances out the pass game.

The Broncos broke a two-game losing streak with an upset win over Toledo to end their regular season. Zach Terrell threw for 3,225 yards, 27 touchdowns and eight interceptions himself during the year while finding his own big time receiver in Daniel Braverman. Braverman had 103 catches for 1,266 yards and 12 touchdowns. On the ground, it is Jamauri Bogan’s job to take some time off the clock with his 836 rushing yards the year and 12 touchdowns. This is going to be a showcase for James and Braverman on a national stage during the lunch hour for most of the country on Christmas Eve.
