It was a bit of the struggle for the Michigan State Spartans last season with 12 losses but it was still good enough where the team won 27 games behind coach Tom Izzo. If the Spartans are going to be successful this coming season, it is going to depend a lot of Denzel Valentine who is the team’s leading returning scorer. Valentine showed last season what he could do with his size in the post. With another year under his belt, he should be even better this coming year.
