Three Injured in Machete Attack on University of Arkansas Campus

A man is currently in custody for injuring three people on the University of Arkansas campus with a machete.
University spokesman Steve Voorhies says the attack happened around 7:15 Thursday night. He also said that no one involved is believed to be a student, although the attack did take place in a wooded area on the campus.
One of the victims is in critical condition. University police Capt. Matt Mills says the suspect was also injured in the incident. He was taken to the hospital and has since been arrested.
It is not immediately clear what prompted the incident, however Voorhies says the attack happened in the same area as a homicide earlier this year.
