Roanoke VA Shooter ID'd

Vester Flanagan has been identified as the shooter at the Bridgewater Plaza shooting in Roanoke, VA. He is responsible for the murder of Alison Parker and Adam Ward.

He was chased northbound on I-81 to the Roanoke Airport, where an abandoned 2004 Silver Mustang was found.

Update–12:04: Bryce Williams has shot and killed himself.

Update–11:05 AM: He is now thought to be in a cream-colored Charger in Weyers Cave.

Vester was a disgruntled employee of WDBJ, the news station that both Alison and Adam worked for. He changed his name to Bryce Williams.

Police are looking for a light-skinned black male born in 1973, standing at 6’3″ and weighing 250lbs, was driving a silver mustang heading north on I-81. That car was found abandoned at the Roanoke Airport.
