Texas Man Shoots 19-Year-Old Girl In Neck Over Beer Pong Rules

Lacie Larose, a 19-year-old Texas girl, was shot in the neck and killed by 39-year-old Roland McNeil after an argument over beer pong rules. Even though the shooting happened back on May 3rd, there is so much absurdity in this story that we had to talk about it.

Let’s start with the story first. Texas A&M student Landon Duke was hosting a graduation party when apparently Duke’s friends started getting into it with McNeil’s friends. There was a brief fist fight, but then McNeil and his friends were asked to leave. “We’re a bunch of college kids. We didn’t think anything was really going to happen. Just to be safe, we closed the garage door anyway.”

A few minutes later, Lacie went outside to grab some beers which is when Roland McNeil ran up to the house and fired 14 rounds–one of which fatally wounded Lacie in the neck.

McNeil is currently being held in Brazos County Jail on charges of murder, deadly conduct for discharge of a firearm and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

So f*cking shitty it’s almost impossible to believe. Sadly enough, this isn’t the first time that a shooting in Texas has happened because of beer pong.

Now that you know the story, let’s just rehash all the bullsh*t involved.

Beer pong isn’t something to be taken lightly (and we may have thrown fists once or twice because of the game), but shooting firearms because you disagree with the rules is too far. Shooting a woman in the neck is even crazier.

Also, what was a 39-year-old doing hanging out at 1 AM playing beer pong with a mix of college graduates and 19-year-olds? Don’t you and your awful friends have better things to be doing than crashing parties?
