Playboy Sues To Be Sure No One Confuses Playmates With Escorts [PICS]

For over 60 years, Playboy magazine has declared their models to be Playboy Playmates–which makes them part of a very exclusive club that (as seen here with that Pitbull bastard) includes(from left to right) Kennedy Summers, Scarlett Keegan, Val Keil, Jaime Edmondson, Hiromi Oshima, Raquel Pomplun, and Neferteri Shepherd. But as TMZ reports, an evil escort service in Canada has sullied the Playmate brand by actually listing their roster of females as “Playmates.” Thankfully, the Playboy empire is addressing this insult in the court of law. Playboy has, in fact, filed a lawsuit against the founders of PleasurePlaymates.com, since their use of the word “playmate” puts a negative connotation on their trademark. They aren’t kidding, either. Never mind the whole implication of prostitution. Check out this gal from from the PleasurePlaymates site….

WTF? That woman doesn’t even have a face.

Playboy is being more polite than they have to be about this whole thing. They just want the company to stop using the name “playmates” in their advertising and business materials, and Playboy is also seeking control of the company’s URL. We can guarantee that we’ll keep checking local escort sites wherever we travel–and if our girlfriends find anything in our internet history, it’s only because we’re looking for more sad examples of this kind of thing.

For now, though, let’s check out some more authentic Playmate perfection with a look back at when Amanda Cerny, Kassie Logsdon, and Jaime Edmonson went cruising in NYC earlier this year. You’ll notice that these 100% Playmates all have faces. In fact, we’re pretty sure that you’ll notice everything about these gals…
