Tom Hanks’ audition tape for “Forrest Gump” has finally surfaced, 20 years after the film came out. Thanks to our friends over at The Huffington Post, we can watch the tape which shows Hanks reading with Robin Wright, who played Jenny. The tape also shows the scene in which Jenny introduces Forrest Gump to his son, who is played by a young Haley Joel Osment. Gump’s classic accent isn’t really there, but these actors definitely deserved their parts.
