Musical satirist “Weird Al” Yankovic’s new album Mandatory Fun hit the virtual store shelves today–and with it comes a new video that turns Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” into “Word Crimes.” In the process, Weird Al also tries to make Twitter (and other social media) a better place.

“Word Crimes” could’ve been a takedown of the musician’s desperate musical attempts to win back his wife by releasing songs that make you wish you didn’t understand English. Yankovic takes his usual high road to deliver a ditty about Grammar Nazis and their never-ending quest to get people (or at least English-speaking people) to quit butchering the English language. It’s a subject he knows all too well as a high school valedictorian. (He’s also addressed proper grammar before, too.) Sadly, there are no topless models dancing around in this video–unless anthropomorphic punctuation marks count as “topless.” They aren’t wearing clothing…
