Kim Jong-un Officially UnHappy With Seth Rogen & James Franco [VIDEO]

As could’ve been expected, Kim Jong-un is not amused with the upcoming James Franco/Seth Rogen comedy The Interview–in which the two play network news figures who get talked into an assassination plot against the North Korean leader. The closest we have to an official opinion so far is from the UK’s Telegraph, which provides the following quote from Kim Myong-chol, who is the executive director of The Centre for North Korea-US Peace…

There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and American society. A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the US has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukrain. And let us not forget who killed [President John F.] Kennedy–Americans. In fact, President Obama should be careful in case the US military wants to kill him as well.

That last line seems a little excessive. Anyway, Kim Myong-chol still think that Kim Jong-un might end up watching The Interview. That’s damn tolerant of him–but we were also pretty much sold on the movie after this trailer was released last week…
