June 21 is the official start of summer–but most kids are already out of school, Hollywood’s summer movie season started nearly two months ago, and there has been summer-like temperatures across the country for several weeks now. One thing that has yet to be decided, however, is what this year’s summer anthem will be.

Last year, it was Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” In 2012, it was Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” This year, there are several candidates that are elbowing for position. Watch the videos below, and then cast your vote in our poll for what you think the “Song of Summer” will be for 2014.

The Obvious Choice: “Love Never Felt So Good,” by Michael Jackson featuring Justin Timberlake. The pairing of the king of pop with his heir apparent seems like a no-brainer, but the song may have already peaked…

Your Mom’s Choice: “Sing,” by Ed Sheeran. This feels like the one that moms and their kids will be dancing to all summer long, making it a strong contender…

The Dark Horse: “Happy,” by Pharrell Williams. Yes, it was released last summer–but it didn’t really come on strong until it received an Oscar nomination earlier this year, and it’s been inescapable ever since…

The Edgy Pick With Crossover Appeal: “Turn Down For What,” by DJ Snake & Lil Jon. This may seem to have been around too long to count as a hot summer choice, but it’s got edge and just enough popular appeal to make it a solid contender…

And finally, The Irresistible Earworm: “Fancy,” by Iggy Azalea. You want to hate this song, but–much like “Call Me Maybe”–it’s undeniably catchy…
