Starbucks Teams Up With ASU To Offer Free Online Programs For Employees

Starbucks currently has a tuition reimbursement program available to all of its employees, which gives workers up to $1,000 a year for education at certain schools. However, according to our friends over at The Huffington Post, Starbucks is now rolling out a program that would allow its workers to earn an online college degree at Arizona State University at a steeply discounted rate. The program is available to all 135,000 U.S. employees who work at least 20 hours a week, and the company says it doesn’t require workers to stay at Starbucks after they earn their degrees.
