According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, PBR skewed away from the mainstream. Instead of doing Super Bowl commercials, they would promote themselves at local events. Consumers weren’t rebelling against traditional advertising, but instead they were responding to the ubiquity of other beer companies’ terrible ad campaigns.
