Two (well, three) big-name directors have two big movies in the works: Rob Zombie and the famous Coen Brothers.

First up, Zombie teased the hardcore horror crowd on his official website with what looks to be his most twisted vision yet. He may have turned down a chance to do Halloween 3 but weirdly enough, his next movie does have a “3” in it. It’s called 3I and it’s about…well, we don’t really know. The video is just a recap of Zombie’s twisted body of work featuring clips from movies such as House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto and Halloween 1 and 2. Then it just features a scary clown face with no eyes slowly backing away from the screen.

We’re sure it would be scarier if we were sitting in a darkened room with no lights, air conditioning, or windows–but we’re not in the COED offices right now. The video contains some nudity so it’s probably Not Safe For Work if you made bad career decisions.

Meanwhile, the Coen Brothers, the boys behind such iconic movies as Raising Arizona, O Brothers Where Are Thou?, True Grit, No Country for Old Men and Inside Llewyn Davis, will explore 1950s Hollywood in their next movie called Hail Caesar. It’s about a “fixer” hired by the big studios to track the whereabouts and behaviors of their big stars so he can keep their squeaky clean images intact by any means necessary. That means the Coen Brothers might do a kind of film-noir-ish movie about the Hollywood system. Either way, it sounds like something that they should just get an Academy Award nomination for now.
