Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Studios released another trailer for their big screen reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that delivers a slightly stronger dose of turtle power.
It’s basically just an extension of the first trailer that made the Internet lose its collective mind over the fact that they changed the story a bit and that the Turtles now appear to have noses. This time, we’ve been given a tiny bit more footage of the Turtles brandishing their weapons, bouncing around and doing more than just standing in front of the camera in all of their CGI goodness. It’s not much more because producer Michael Bay just loves to be a big, old tease, especially when it comes to movies that rehash gigantic characters from our childhood. This time, however, we get to see Michaelangelo showing off some of his skateboarding skills and Donatello displaying his impressive technical know-how. And that’s really about it. All the new stuff is just sandwiched in between the shot of Megan Fox, the movie’s new April O’Neal, shooting pictures of the Turtles with her cell phone in a subway and Leonardo swooping down on a rooftop in front of her. So feel free to just skip ahead if you’re a bit impatient.
Of course, we won’t really know how good or bad the movie is until it hits theaters. However, considering where we are with the new Transformers and the last two G.I. Joe movies, we’re not getting a good vibe from it so far.
