The Ultimate Warrior is dead, but Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson carries on as Hercules in the new film…um, Hercules. And we’re not too sure how excited we’re supposed to get over this new clip. It doesn’t look as bad as that Hercules where the legendary hero said things like, “It’s none of your business,” but Johnson’s one line of dialogue here isn’t much better. And the comic relief sure sounds like he’s from a 1998 action movie instead of ancient Greece. Hercules was running around ancient Greece, right? We think so.

Look, we’re not saying that we know everything, but this one clip already has us thinking that we’re not in any kind of epic 300 territory here. This looks more like Scorpion King territory–except this time, the star isn’t just billed as “The Rock.” This isn’t necessarily bad, but maybe they shouldn’t have built up so much Hercules hype. Also, note that Hercules is wearing a lion skin. Hey, we remember that from the trailer.
