There’s no disputing the passion of Duke Blue Devils coach Mike Krzyzewski–but he may have taken that passion a bit too far on Wednesday night as he became dizzy during the team’s loss at Wake Forest. He was taken to the hospital for further tests, and has “improved considerably.”
Duke has been playing very well this season like they do every year, but at 67 years old, questions are going to begin to surface on how much longer Krzyzewski should be coaching. He is still in great shape and probably could last another 5-7 years on the sidelines but will he know when the time has come to hang up the suit jacket? It won’t be anytime soon though, that’s for sure.
Everyone wishes Coach K the best in feeling better and hopefully everything is alright as the team gets ready for the ACC Tournament and March Madness in the couple weeks. College basketball is better because of him on the sidelines.
