Ian Kinsler isn’t very happy with the Texas Rangers. Kinsler spoke up against his former team on Tuesday with many critical comments about the team’s upper management–and hoping that the Rangers would go “0-162.” Kinsler was traded in the offseason to the Detroit Tigers for Prince Fielder.
Kinsler has always been one to speak his mind on things and this is just another one of those instances. Will the Rangers go 0-162? Absolutely not but there is obviously going to be some fire to those Tigers-Rangers games when they come up this season after these comments. Will any of his former teammates want to make it a point to shut Kinsler up?
The two teams will see each other for the first time in Detroit starting on May 22 for a four-game series and will play in Texas on June 24-26. There will no doubt be some very interesting things that happen over those seven days. Kinsler may have bit off more than he can chew here.
