Happy Texas Independence Day!

On this day in 1836, Texas declared its independence from Mexico after the Texas Revolution. Texas remained a sovereign state until 1846 when it was annexed as part of the United States. Although its time as a nation only lasted a decade, there are many current Texas citizens who probably feel deep down in their hearts that their state should still be its own country.

Depending on your political affiliation, you most likely either passionately love or hate Texas. Still, there are some things that Texas provides that transcend politics. We’re talking of course about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Whether you love or hate Texas, you should be able to enjoy these photos taken during the 2014 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders photo shoot.
