Watch as pop star Justin Bieber performs his sobriety test in video recorded at the Miami Beach Police Department. After all, the public’s taxes helped pay for the preservation of this important moment in American history. In fact, the Miami-Dade County prosecutors released about 10 hours of video from Bieber’s arrest back in January after the Associated Press and other news group made requests based on public records.
You actually get both Bieber and R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff in this video. They’re wearing matching shoes, which is nice. Maybe those red beacons help Justin walk a straight line for the nice police officer. Or maybe not, since the guy was still arrested for driving under the influence, plus some other charges to which Justin is saying, “Yo, not guilty.”
Some video was withheld, including Bieber’s urine test. That’s probably a blessing. Sadly, this video doesn’t let us hear what the police reports are describing as Bieber being “excited, talkative, profanity, cooperative, insulting, and cocky.” We’ve still seen worse behavior down at the drunk tank. Bieber’s practically being a model citizen, once you get past those shoes. And at least Justin didn’t look at that white line when he was asked to walk it and then say to the cop, “What? At this height?” And he didn’t try to snort it, either. Okay. We’re out of jokes already.
